My name is Brielle. I’m a third year Philosophy PhD student.
My main area of interest is ethics – specifically, moral responsibility and appropriate attributions of praise and blame. I do research at the intersection of normative/applied ethics and social philosophy.
As a queer Filipina, I am very passionate about working to address problems regarding diversity and under-representation in professional philosophy. Among other things, I am a chapter representative for Minorities and Philosophy and have also participated in research regarding the under-representation of women.
I hope to one day become a Professor of Philosophy.
